Imaginary Landscapes, Carmel Coast Retreat with Art Wolfe -TWO SPACES REMAINING-

May 2 - May 6

| $6000.00

Event Navigation

Art is so enthusiastic about the great response we have received for his special abstract retreats, that he has decided to plan one for an entirely new location, Pacific Grove! If you have ever attended his popular “Photography As Art” seminar you may recall that many of the images that he uses in that seminar had been photographed in this very region. So the real question is, why hasn’t he lead an abstract workshop in this area before?

The region has so much to offer! Not only is there a plethora of abstract subjects all within a close proximity, but there are also fantastic ocean landscapes, and of course sea otters! You did read that correctly, we are also going to bring our group to a fantastic location where they can comfortably photograph sea otters from kayaks. Don’t worry if you have never been in a kayak before, we have special guides that will be doing all the work so that our group can focus on photography rather than paddling.

This special workshop is beginning on Wednesday, May 2nd, with a Welcome Gathering at the hotel meeting room in Monterey. With two instructors and only five participants this will be an intensive hands on learning session pushing your imagination to its limits! Though the location is fabulous what we will attempt to do is see beyond the obvious. The intent is so see and imagine landscapes at your very feet. Art will create a list of challenges and through our field sessions and critiques on a daily basis we will elevate your visual observational skills to an entirely new level.
