SUMMARY:Beyond the Image: The Art of Photographic Critique -EARLY BIRD SPECIAL-
DESCRIPTION:Pyramid of Khafre and the Great Pyramid of Khufu\, Memphite Necroplis\, Egypt (November 2025)\n \n \n \n \n \n Chile\, Patagonia\, Magallanes y Antártica Chilena \, Torres del Paine National Park\n \n \n \n \n \n Argentina\, Patagonia\, Los Glaciares National Park\n \n \n \n \n \n Mongolia \, Kazakh eagle hunter\, Mr. Sailau\, Bayan-Ölgii Province\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Ever alert\, a single gray wolf casts a wary glance towards the photographer. Recent reintroductions in Yellowstone National Park have proven highly successful as newly formed packs recognize historic territory.\n \n \n \n \n \n Brown bear\, Katmai National Park\, Alaska\, USA\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n USA\, Wyoming\, Grand Teton National Park\, \, grizzly (Ursus arctos)\n \n \n \n \n \n Mount Rainier appears as mist rises off a lake at dawn\, Mt. Rainier National Park\, Washington\, USA\n \n \n \n \n \n Lake Natron region\, Tanzania\, Greater flamingos\n\nGreater flamingos rely on the salt lakes of the Rift Valley as one of their few consistent breeding grounds in East Africa. Lake Natron is home to organisms that manage to thrive in the high salinity and give the water rich and varied hues.\n \n \n \n \n \n Ngorongoro Conservation Area\, Tanzania \, African lion (Panthera leo)\n \n \n \n \n \n Close up of Angkor Wat historical site ruines\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Chile\, Patagonia\, Magallanes y Antártica Chilena \, Torres del Paine National Park \, austral pygmy owl (Glaucidium nana)\n \n \n \n \n \n Red-billed Tropicbird hovers among the rocky cliffs of the Galapagos Islands.\n \n \n \n \n \n Gentoo penguin (Pygoscelis papua) in snowfall\, Antarctica\n\nIUCN Red List Status: Stable Population / Least Concern\nCanon EOS-1D X\, EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens\, f/18 for 1/1600 second\, ISO 4000\n \n \n \n \n \n Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris)\, Bandhavgarh National Park\, Madhya Pradesh\, India\nA tiger crosses a clearing in the dense forest in central India. This is one of my favorite tiger shots simply because of the elegant position of this powerful cat. The shoulder muscles are very much in evidence. China’s burgeoning economy has escalated the illegal trade of tiger parts\, so tigers have become increasingly endangered throughout Asia. India’s efforts to combat poaching and manage wildlife habitat represent the last remaining hope for these beautiful animals.\n\nCanon EOS-1Ds Mark II; Canon EF 70-200 mm lens; f/2.8 @ 1/800 second; ISO 500\n \n \n \n \n \n USA\, Arizona\, Sedona\n \n \n \n \n \n Aerial of sand dunes\, Namib-Naukluft National Park\, Namibia\n \n \n \n \n \n Japan\, Hokkaido\, red fox (Vulpes vulpes)\n \n \n\nWhat makes a photograph truly successful? How can subtle changes in composition\, light\, color\, and processing transform an image? Join renowned photographer Art Wolfe for an engaging and highly interactive day devoted to the art of photographic critique and creative development. \nLimited to just 15 participants\, this intimate workshop offers a unique opportunity to have your own photography reviewed by Art while gaining valuable insight into the creative decisions behind a compelling image. Each participant may submit up to six digital photographs for review. Using Adobe Lightroom\, Art will work directly with the submitted images as he shares his thoughts on composition\, visual storytelling\, color\, tonal balance\, and post-processing possibilities. \nThe real value of this experience extends beyond the review of your own photographs. As Art works through each participant’s images\, the entire group will have the opportunity to observe his creative process\, understand his approach to improving an image\, and learn to recognize opportunities they might otherwise overlook in their own work. \nWhether you’re looking to refine your photographic technique\, strengthen your artistic vision\, or simply gain a fresh perspective on your images\, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of the world’s most accomplished photographers. Bring your curiosity\, your favorite photographs\, and an open mind for a day of inspiration\, discovery\, and constructive feedback. \nEarly Bird Special Offered Through Nov 30th!  \nReserve Your Spot Today \nLed by Art Wolfe\n Limited to 15 participants\n Minimal hiking involved\n\nTransportation and Accommodation\n\nParticipants are responsible for their own transportation\, lodging and meals.\nUpon registration you will download a PDF that includes additional details about the venue where this workshop will take place.
