Based in the charming town of Durango\, this workshop offers the perfect base for exploring some of the Southwest’s most iconic scenery — from golden aspen groves along the Million Dollar Highway to the timeless beauty of Mesa Verde National Park. \nYou’ll spend your days immersed in the landscape\, chasing light through mountain passes and quiet forests ablaze with color. Evenings bring warm meals\, meaningful conversations\, and the kind of connection that makes these trips unforgettable. Whether you’re refining your technical skills or simply seeking inspiration\, this is a chance to create truly memorable images\, and memories\, in one of the most photogenic corners of the American West. \nEarly Bird Pricing Available Through June 30th!  \nReserve Your Spot Today \n \nLed by Art Wolfe and Gavriel Jecan\n Limited to 10 participants\n Minimal hiking involved\n\nTransportation and Accommodation\n\nParticipants are responsible for their own transportation to the hotel\, lodging and meals.\nUpon registration you will download a PDF that includes the hotel information. Please call the hotel directly to make your reservations.\n\nItinerary\nShooting schedules have the ability to be altered to effectively cater to the photographic desires of the group\, as well as to adapt to changeable weather conditions. \nDay 1:\n\nMeet and greet at 8pm at a meeting room. Everyone can introduce themselves\, and Art will give a brief description of the proposed itinerary.\nGroup no host dinner\n\nDay 2:\n\nThis day will begin with an inspiring lecture from Art. He will show you photographs from the region and highlight specific camera settings so you can capture similar beautiful images once we head into the field.\nAfter the lecture the group will head out into the field and will pick up lunch on our way out. We have selected great locations that will offer both abstract compositions and beautiful landscapes.\nAfter our day of shooting we will return to the hotel to download images from the day of shooting before we depart for another lovely dinner together.\nDine together with Art and staff (no host dinner)\n\nDay 3:\n\nArt may schedule an additional critique on this morning\, so that you can learn from the previous day in the field before we head out for another day of shooting. These mid-workshop critiques prove to be invaluable because you can learn from any mistakes that have been made while there is still time to go out into the field and correct them.\nFollowing the brief critique we will have another full day in the field.\nDownload images from the day of shooting\nDine together with Art and staff (no host dinner)\n\nDay 4:\n\nGroup critique and review. Please note\, this is not an intimidating process\, but often one of the most constructive and informative segments of the workshop.\nLearn from each others images while they are projected for the group. Art will adjust them in Adobe Lightroom and provide instruction.\nWorkshop will conclude by 12pm\n\n  \nEarly Bird Pricing Available Through June 30th!  \nReserve Your Spot Today \nShare:\n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n More\n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Share on Pocket (Opens in new window)\n Pocket
