Throughout the workshop\, you’ll explore both abstracts in nature and landscape photography\, focusing on capturing the intricate textures\, patterns\, and forms that define the Oregon coast. \nAs the dramatic coastline shifts from misty mornings to dynamic sunsets\, Art will guide you in using light\, shadow\, and perspective to create striking\, one-of-a-kind images. The intimate group setting ensures you’ll receive personalized attention\, with Art and his assistant instructor providing tailored feedback to help you push your creative boundaries. \nThis workshop is more than just about taking photographs—it’s about discovering new ways to see the world around you and refining your unique photographic vision. \nWhether you’re a seasoned photographer looking to refine your technique or someone eager to experiment with new approaches\, this retreat offers the perfect combination of technical instruction\, artistic inspiration\, and the natural beauty of Cannon Beach. \n \n  \nReserve Your Spot Today \nLed by Art Wolfe \nAssisted by Libby Pfeiffer\n Limited to 6 participants\n Minimal hiking involved\n  \nTransportation and Accommodation\n\nParticipants are responsible for their own transportation\, lodging and meals. Transportation via carpool will be arranged between lodging and shoot locations.\nUpon registration you will be sent a PDF that includes the hotel information. Please call the hotel directly to make your room reservation.\n\n\nItinerary\nShooting schedules have the ability to be altered to effectively cater to the photographic desires of the group\, as well as to adapt to changeable weather conditions. \nDay 1\n\nMeet and greet at 6:00pm. Everyone can introduce themselves\, and Art will give a brief description of the proposed itinerary.\n6:30 We will go out for an optional no-host dinner to continue our introductions.\n\nDay 2\n9:00-11:00am Inspirational Lecture \n \nFollowing the lecture the group will go out together for a no-host lunch. The afternoon will be spent photographing in the field and carefully selected locations. \nThere will be an optional group no-host dinner and an evening critique session to discuss and develop images that were taken during our first field session. \nDay 3\nWe will have an early start on this day to fill our day with multiple field locations. This will allow for a variety of images including abstracts and landscapes. \nThere will be an optional group no-host dinner and an evening critique session to discuss and develop images that were taken during our second full day of photography. \nDay 4\nThis morning we will have our final critique. Learn from each others images while they are projected for the group.
