Join legendary photographer Art Wolfe this August for an immersive small group photography workshop set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Mount Rainier. Known for its dramatic landscapes and fleeting summer blooms, Mount Rainier offers a variety of opportunities for photographers of all skill levels.
Timed to coincide with the peak of the wildflower season, this workshop will guide you through alpine meadows bursting with color—vibrant lupine, paintbrush, and avalanche lilies creating dreamlike compositions beneath the towering peak of Rainier. Early risers will be rewarded with a serene sunrise session, where the mountain glows with soft pastels and golden light spills across the valleys.
Throughout the workshop, we’ll explore iconic waterfalls, forested trails, and hidden vantage points, with opportunities to capture the mood and majesty of this Pacific Northwest gem. Wildlife sightings are always a possibility—keep your lens ready for marmots, deer, and perhaps even a fox crossing the trail.
With Art’s expert guidance, you’ll refine your creative vision, improve your technical skills, and come away with a deeper appreciation for photographing nature in all its fleeting beauty. Whether you’re looking to build your portfolio or simply reconnect with the natural world through your camera, this workshop promises inspiration at every turn.
Also, we have a permit to conduct this workshop in the National Park. This means we do not have to worry about the timed entry system that has been set up. Giving us freedom to enter the park whenever we like.
