Olympic Peninsula Spring Small Group Photography Retreat -EARLY BIRD SPECIAL-

May 18, 2026 - May 22, 2026

| $3450

Event Navigation

Join Art Wolfe and Libby Pfeiffer for an immersive four-day photography retreat in the lush, awakening landscapes of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Based in Port Angeles, this small-group experience is designed to offer a more intimate and focused environment — limited to just 8 participants.

As spring arrives in the Pacific Northwest, the forests of Olympic National Park begin to stir with life. The vine maples unfurl their first leaves, mountain runoff swells the creeks, and the undergrowth remains open enough to reveal the structure and mood of this iconic landscape. It’s a time of clarity and energy — perfect for both nature photography and exploring abstract compositions in the wild.

With personalized instruction from Art and Libby, participants will dive deep into creative seeing, composition, and developing their photographic voice. Whether you’re capturing the texture of ancient bark, the dance of light across mossy stones, or the motion of rushing water, this retreat invites you to slow down and truly see.

While Port Angeles offers several nice dining options, this workshop is centered on the photographic experience — in the field, in the moment, and in close connection with a small cohort of fellow creatives.

We are offering an Early Bird Special:

I love photographing in the Olympic Peninsula and it seems like every time I am leaving I am wishing for more time to photograph in this beautiful region.  So I have decided to provide an exclusive photography retreat which will not only grant me additional time in the field to teach, but also a more extended period of time to get to know each of the participants.  I am really looking forward to the opportunity to photograph with a small group in one of my favorite places to visit.
